Fun Seaside fact for the locals: today in 1968, the 6th was on a Saturday. Monterey had its parade on the 4th but for some odd reason Seaside chose Saturday to have its parade. My mother watched from the sidewalk on Fremont blvd, and that afternoon, 10 days after her due date, went into labor and gave birth. Today, cold and cloudy, seems a great day for all the REes. Reflection, rejuvenation, reincarnation, rejoicing, recording, recreating, renewing. :) have a great weekend!
