Further updates on the Bute Building refurbishment: The contractors are now working from 7:30am to 4:00pm. The 24 hour door must not be used during these hours – students and staff should only use the door at the front of the building. The entire lower ground South Corridor is now out of bounds at all hours. For use of Bute Building out of hours, please use the stairs near the 24 hour door and go up the second floor (Architecture) to access the rest of the building. Students using the Avids in Room 0.50 from Tuesday 13th August will also need to go up to the second floor and down the stairs at the back of the North side of the building for access. Contractors will be working in the building on Saturday 10th August. Anyone wishing to use the building on Saturday should be vigilant and use the appropriate access routes. Should a contractor be working near your place of work and you wish to pass by, please make them aware of your presence so they can ensure it is safe for you to do so and wait for them to allow you through.
