GET SATURATED WITH GOD’S LOVE “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” (Romans 5:5) There is a specific environment required for your maximum productivity in life, and that is the atmosphere of God’s love. It is God’s will for His children to function daily in the consciousness of His love, for the best in us emerges when our hearts are saturated with the knowledge of His love. The Bible tells us of Solomon who grew up knowing how much God loved him and this inspired him to do great things for the Lord. 1st John 4:10 records: “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” It was the Lord who first loved us, He loved us when we were lost in sin and delivered us from all our fears. God is Love, He is a Lover and His eyes of love are set upon you. He loves you as if you are the only one in this world. He says in Jeremiah 31:3: “I love you with a love that will last forever. That is why I have continued showing you kindness” (NCV). He loves you with an Everlasting love. So respond to His love. One character of true love is that it makes sacrifices for the one it loves. That is why God gave Jesus for us, and His Spirit to flood and saturate our hearts with His love: “…the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost.” Henceforth, let all your actions be based on the fact that God loves you! Let your expectations in life rise from the embers of His boundless love. Tell yourself each day: “God loves me; therefore good things are coming my way today!” Declare to yourself, “All things are working together for my good, because the Creator of the Universe is in love with me.” Then watch your life soar in the wings of His grace. Confession: Heavenly Father, I thank you for pouring out your boundless and everlasting love upon me. I am the beloved of the Lord and so I live today knowing that the God of the Universe is on my side, causing all things to work together in my favor for my good. For the love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit. Glory to God! Further Insight: Jeremiah 31:1 MSG; Ephesians 3:17-18 Study Plan: Psalms 81-82
