~ ~ ~ ~ GOLDEN STRANDS: PRECIOUS CORDS OF LOVE ~ ~ ~ ~ The Seventh-day Adventist Church, each, and every member: each a strand; each a cord of love, bound together; woven together ~ tightly! . . . is that your mental reality! John three, sixteen tells us, for GOD so love the world, that GOD gave HIS one and only SON, that whoever believes in GOD, shall not perish; but have eternal life. Dear, dear friend, brethren; often we Christians focus on the things in life that separates, and make us different; rather than on the similarities we share, and the attributes that make us one ~ in CHRIST! We share, a deep faith in JESUS CHRIST, as our LORD and Savior: we also share the belief that prayer is our only medium of communication with GOD, through JESUS CHRIST, through whom we have eternal life. Living a life of constant prayer, and thanksgiving; even for the trials that come our way ~ similarities: attributes that make us one in CHRIST. The things that bind us together are far greater than the things that divide, or seem to divide us, as Christians. Today, let us endeavor to find in each other, those common threads that make us unique Christians, and avoid the differences that would bring discord and separate us; may this be our prayer today. Father in heaven we thank YOU, for this YOUR word to our mind, at this time; let us be united; let us be bound together with YOUR love, as we bring ourselves to YOU. Search us dear GOD, fill us with YOUR Holy Spirit, so we could LOVE one another, as YOU want us to; because YOU love us unconditionally; we ask this in the name of YOUR only beloved SON JESUS CHRIST of NAZERETH, Amen!
