Is this true? #mejustdeyaskoooooo# SURE-P Asks Aregbesola To Provide Subsidy Fund Osun State Coordination and Implementation Committee chairman of the SURE-P, Dr Bayo Faforiji has challenged the state governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola to tell the general public of how the state spends its monthly N400 million share of the subsidy fund accruing to it since the partial removal of subsidy on petroleum last year. Faforiji claimed that Aregbesola’s government had been receiving over N200 million monthly while each of the 30 LGAs of the state equally received similar amount. “I want Aregbesola to explain to the world how he is spending the money while I also want to debunk the allegation that the SURE-P programme mainly is for the PDP faithful. It is not as the allegation is not true, the programme was designed by the president of the entire Nigeria and it is for all and sundry no matter the political or religious affiliation you may see yourself; as there is no discrimination at all in selecting candidates for the programme which is meant for Osun State indigines”, Faforiji stated. One of the beneficiaries from Egbedore LGA of the state, Caleb Oyinlola thanked the president for the initiative, saying SURE-P programme is round peg in a round hole for the betterment of jobless people not only in Osun State, but throughout the country while enjoining the president not to stop the programme, as it was being speculated in some quarters that the programme is about to be counceled by the federal government saying rather, the president should help them by increasing the number of beneficiaries.
