GOOD MORNING AMERCA~ The following admonishment received from an inquiring fan, albeit an unwarranted condemnation for shipping what has become a luxury and dying medium due to high manufacturing & shipping costs. However, I do not intend to allow this bargain basement plea to phase me. No ones forcing anyone to buy. It is what it is. Now that the official CD version of 85 bpm is now available to pre-order. I started the process to purchase it, however I see that there is an $18.75 charge just for shipping on a $20.00 CD. That is not only unfair, it’s insane. Do you have a fair way to purchase this CD that prevents a fan to avoid paying $38.75 for one CD? Response: We sincerely apologize for the exorbitant cost to ship CDs. It is unfortunately the only way to ensure the product arrives safely yo the USA and as the distributor informs me, is the only option if we are in fact to offer hard copy CDs to fans of my music. Hopefully you may find the reasons from our online seller to be explanatory. if the client is ordering from the USA, we need to ship the units with a tracking number to ensure delivery to prevent the risk of the product getting held up at customs. We cannot risk losing stock by sending things ground – especially for people have been waiting patiently. However, shipping to the states is expensive, and there’s nothing anyone can really do about that. It’s no different than when we, in Canada, need something shipped from the United States and we’re forced to have it shipped via Purolator or DHL because ground just isn’t worth the risk to the company. =@=
