GOOD MORNING!!! Finally back on a normal schedule so I feel that the only way to get this week started right should be with a devotional since it has been so long since I put anything on here. So devotional this morning and maybe some of my own thoughts and own words before bed tonight. Trust ME with every fiber of your being! What I can accomplish in and through you is proportional to how much you depend on ME. One aspect of this is the degree to which you trust ME, in a crisis or major decision. Some people fail miserable here, while others are at their best in tough times. Another aspect is even more telling: the constancy of your trust in ME. People who rely on ME in the midst of adversity may forget about ME when life is flowing smoothly. Difficult times can jolt you into awareness of your need for ME, whereas smooth sailing can lull you into the stupor of self-sufficiency. I care as much about you tiny trust steps through daily life as about your dramatic leaps of faith. You may think that no one notices, but the ONE who is always beside you sees everything and rejoices. Consistently trusting in ME is vital to flourishing in MY Presence. PSALM 40:4 PSALM 62:8 PSALM 56:3-4 ISAIAH 26:3-4 This is such good reading. I often see people talking about and talking to GOD during times of need or times or sorrow, hurt or pain, and when things seem to be going wrong or they are not going the way they want them to be going. People seem to forget about GOD when things are going good in life until something happens and they arent getting their way. And that is not the way it should be. GOD should be FIRST each and everyday of your life. When you put GOD first then everything is going to be the way it is meant to be. GOD provides all we ever need and HE is always there one step ahead of us waiting and watching for us to reach out and take hold of his hand. Do not except GOD to fix things in your life when you dont live for him on a daily basis. HE isnt something or someone that is to be used when things arent going your way. HE is the ONE and ONLY that is there for you ALWAYS and wants a relationship with you daily not just when it is convenient for you. Have a good day. And put all your trust and faith in GOD today and everyday
