***GRIEVING FOR THE FAMILY WHO LEFT HIM BEHIND*** CRICKET WILL BE KILLED TOMORROW!!!! A volunteer writes: Cricket always seems to have a question for me on his face…He seems so puzzled.. I guess, he does not recognize our premises as his and he wonders who are all those dogs and people he never met. As a result , he is a bit anxious and roams the pen for a while, crying a little at times. Cricket is elegant looking, healthy appearing and wears a silky, well groomed finely brindly grey and bronze coat. He comes when I call him and settles with his tush on my foot. He eats very gently some tasty treats from my hand. He accepts my caresses and likes to be scratched behind the ears. He feels better, more comfortable with me and soon enough, Cricket is on my lap, kissing me profusely. Later on during the day, i saw Cricket marching nicely toward the park with his volunteer. He seemed quite fine and at ease..happy to be out again..Cricket is a young man, very good looking, friendly and well mannered. I hope that soon enough he will wear the biggest smile on his face when he will leave with you, for your home as your forever best friend… Come and meet Cricket at the Manhattan shelter.
