GUESS WHICH CLERK: The Plaintiff kept complaining that the Defendant was always one step ahead in Ottawa County. After doing some research it was discovered that someone within the court system was tipping off the Defendant. I offered to investigate. I went to the clerk window at the court and filed some papers. I got a call for the attorney of record one hour later saying his client called all upset that the Defendant had called them screaming about the papers I just filed. I was holding the phone in one ear and holding the Defendants copies of the papers in my other hand. I didnt even fax these to the process server yet to serve on the Defendant, how could they have known? Again, tipped off by the Clerk. The attorneys intuition was correct. What else are they doing wrong, intentionally? Which Clerk Was It?
