GUN RESPONSIBILITY -- Demand Confirmation of Dr. Murthy as Surgeon General Gun responsibility _is_ a vital national health issue. Guns kill and maim people. Gun owners/users are mere adjuncts to the gun. NRAs position that guns dont kill people but that its people who kill people is pure nonsense. The incompetently written Second Amendment must be revised. Our American version of responsible, people-oriented government requires this reform in order to prevent the madmen at the NRA from pushing guns and its irresponsible positions on guns, including its opposition to Murthy as Surgeon General and opposing President Obamas leadership for responsibility in pro-people initiatives such as Obamacare and gun responsibility. Government has police power to enforce law and order. It is unconstitutional for it not to support gun responsibility nation-wide and from every platform it has, including that of the Surgeon General.
