Garlic Scapes! A customer recently asked us about our garlic scape pesto. This is how we use it, so we thought we would share this with all of you. The basic garlic scape pesto consists of garlic scapes, olive oil and salt in a food processor until its well blended. To keep for future use fill ice cube trays until frozen and than you can put in a ziploc bag for future use. You can add this basic pesto to salad dressings bruschetta or season meats with it or as a base for a pasta sauce or stir fry. For more of a classic pesto you can add pine nuts, Parmesan cheese and some basil which you can than add to pasta dishes. All of the above can be frozen! Enjoy!
