This was a result of the new SEC Network, which everybody seemed to want, not understanding that not every event will be seen in its entirety - and some will be seen only on your computer, phone, tablet or one a them fancy watches. We will broadcast a pre-Madness special from 5-7 p.m., so Im sure a lot of people will assume that were CHOOSING to shut down when Madness begins. Were already getting phone calls complaining. Please help us spread the word - dont call us, call the SEC. Should the SEC Network broadcast UKs event? Argue that all you want. Theyll tell you that it wouldnt be fair to the other 13 institutions, and theyd be right. What I say is, why not let US keep broadcasting the entire event? The SEC could still do live look-ins or whatever. But that would be too easy...
