George Harrisons B-side of This Song (#25 in 76) was Learning How To Love You. I took on Georges likeness for my profile pic today because a friend had posted a blurb about this being the 40th anniversary of the Dark Horse Tour that was so mercilessly panned because of Georges laryngitis. While in hindsight it would have been easy to have postponed it, he chose not to (probably because he had lined up travel arrangements for Ravi Shankar and his Indian musicians) but despite it all I enjoyed the show immensely. One of the commentors on that thread totally trashed it saying that it completely sucked. I knew before attending that he was not at his best. It was a great show. Yeah, it would have been sweet to see him at his best, but the ticket only cost me 9.50. That in retrospect was a ridiculously low price to see my hero.
