Get to Know You... Dear Me, You are Awesome, Strong, Smart, Marvelous, Loved by God Himself, You are fabulous and special in Gods eyes. I just thought I would remind you of this... Love Me. Look well to yourself [to your own personality] and to [your] teaching; persevere in these things [hold to them], for by so doing you will save both yourself and those who hear you. 1 Timothy 4:16 We surround ourselves with noise, because we are uncomfortable with silence. We fill our lives with distractions, because we are reluctant to confront our true selves. We make sure that there are plenty of things to keep us entertained, so we dont have to just sit and think. Yet in the silence, away from the noise and distraction, there is a beautiful person. Every now and then, get quiet and just listen to the real person inside of you. That person knows your deepest secrets and your most treasured desires. That person still knows the wonders, the joys, the innocence of childhood. That person has the courage to dream big dreams. That person doesnt need constant affirmation from others. That person doesnt need a constant sound track -- that person has substance. Take a quiet walk, now and again, with the real you, who lives beneath all the everyday distractions. Find strength, courage and insight in the beautiful person God has created you to be. Remember... that I AM are two of the most powerful words that will ever come out of your mouth, because what you say after them will shape your reality... Father in heaven, thank-you for the ME You have made ME. Teach me too be happy with ME. Help me to stop trying to be second rate version of someone else, and be a first rate ME. I know that if I dont like ME its going to be very difficult to let other people like ME. I AM Blessed. I AM LOVED. I AM Saved. I AM Gods. In Jesus Name, amen.
