Getting ready for the Simulated Emergency Test. Going to the printers today. The neighborhood CERT TEAM WORK goal was never met due to meeting up with shady politics of the so called CERT team leader and the HOA president (who never goes to CERT meetings). I took the time as the CERT ham radio operator, to prep the SET radio drill for ARES SET and passed out preliminary information about what would be asked. The scenerio wasnt printed or passed out yet. I planned on doing that last night, but Mike Koon, the CERT Team Leader who informs & does not inform the HOA board at whim, said I needed his approval & the HOAs approval before asking CERT team members to participate in ARES SET. And then Mike called in the board president and told me I was no longer on the CERT team. So there you have it. He told me he was going to have me THROWN out of the community and call the Sheriff. Thus is the level of cooperation from someone who has no hamradio license, none to teach CERT nor does he have HOA liability insurance for the team or background checks for team members. I tried. I failed. There you have it. It is what it is. #Yelm
