Gifted Students & Top Talent. Dont stop shining. Dont give up. A lot of us get frustrated because weve had the gift of using accelerated programs & weve been praised for our hard work all of our lives. Weve been top talent and forced to be a #1 all of our lives. The pressure. The pressure was a good thing. We will feel lost and misunderstood when we begin in a workplace. We will feel as if employers need to take this into account when hiring us. I mean, this is a trait that has been instilled in us. We arent cocky assholes, we just cant settle for less. And it sucks. It sucks for a long long time..GROWING PAINS. Speaking about TIME. They didnt mention how time is similar to energy. It cannot be created nor destroyed. Time is a double edged sword. We want to fast forward time but forget that the time we put in will give us what we want with time.. Just backtracked a few years and read a personal letter that my filthy rich teacher/ mentor wrote to me. This was in response to a small minded Baby-Boomer teacher that didnt understand why I was getting straight As while still being a funny crazy troublemaker. LOL! Here it goes.. Jackie.. I was you in my days. You possess a special something that is hard to grasp and define. Normal people wont understand the interpersonal attraction you radiate. People naturally love you but your friendly competitive nature will be misread. You will kick and cry. You will be misunderstood. When everything pans out a colleague/employer will find you and teach you everything you need to know to join them as the Entrepreneur you were born to be. You are wise beyond your years. Work hard and earn your stripes. But work smart. You will know what I mean with this with time. Dont forget the value you bring wherever you go. You will be where you were born to be sooner than you think. You have a weird genius to you thats beautiful. Dont change it for anyone or anything. Embrace it. Share it. Closing out this rant out with... HAPPY FRIDAY. WORK YOUR ASSES OFF & SAVE YOUR MONEY LIKE A TOKEN RICH JEW! IT WILL PAY OFF. :)
