Give SUPs a go with Strapper this weekend! HAVE you always wanted to give stand up paddling (SUP) a shot, but not known where to start? The team at Strapper Surf has got you covered. They are excited to provide the opportunity for everyone to try it out with some expert advice on hand this weekend. Now heading into its fifth year, the SUP Demo Day has proven itself a very popular event, drawing in people of all ages. This year’s experts on hand will be brand managers from JP Australia, Naish, Fanatic and Global Surf Industries, as well as the Strapper Surf Crew to help find the best options to suit your needs. King of the Merimbula Classic 2014 and branch manager of Naish Australia John Messenger will be joining Strapper SUP team riders and Jan Juc locals Kenta Fergusson, and John and Matt Takle. Two-time world surfing champion Tom Carroll has also just released his new range of high performance SUP boards with Global Surf Industries, which will be available on the day in two models: the long grain, and the loose leaf. Tom will not be attending the event. Surf lessons will also be available from Cameron Lamperd, of Surf Sessions. Bookings are essential. To book contact Strapper Surf on 5261 2312. The fifth annual Strapper Surf Demo Day will take place this Saturday (December 6) at Cosy Corner in Torquay, from 9am until 1pm.
