God gave us the opportunity to use our bus for good today. We were able to help Johns uncle get to and from the nursing home easily so he could enjoy Thanksgiving with us. Then on our way home from Kansas we stopped at a convenience store to pick up a couple of sodas. While I was in there I heard an Amish gentleman telling a couple that their van had broken down and there were 12 of them. He had walked to the convenience store to get help. I also heard him say he had 2 handicapped children. So.....long story short....we found out the capacity of our bus. 6 Boyds, 1 Bubba dog, 2 Amish grandparents, 2Amish parents, and 8 Amish children, 1 in a wheelchair and 1 who uses a walker. (Plus James wheelchair and a bunch of car parts John had picked up in Kansas). We just drove them about 1/2 mile but they are all safely in a warm place and another van is on its way to get them. Very thankful today for our bus. It isnt perfect, but God gave it to us and we will use it for His good! Please pray for this family to make it home to Arkansas safely. Also pray for their three boys, whom they shared with us have Muscular Dystrophy.
