God recruits those for leadership after his own heart and commands that they shall be made rulers and given authority. The qualified are those who walk in truth and the light, and who speak uprightly; those who despise unjust gain through deceit and violence; those who exhibit integrity; those who avoid impropriety; and those who refuse to take bribes and shun evil of any kind. To those after God’s own heart, he promised them his divine presence, divine security, divine supply and heavenly vision.
