God, unlike many religious people, is not hung up on our humanity. God demonstrated His love for us all while we are being entirely human. Religion, with plenty of help from the Institutional church system, and a humanly edited, translated, assembled and written holy book, has made a caricature of God, who is unlike the God of Jesus. God the Father of Jesus loves the world, while they/we are very worldly/human. Do not let anyone steal the true image of God with their religious Bible notions. God is not angry, God is not vindictive, God is absolute pure love, and anyone who says different does not know Him.
