God willing, this Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. EST. please join your Marriage and Relationship Servants, Brother Marcus and Sister Cecelia, as we discuss the topic, “Sarcastic Marriages and Relationships – Why are we really so hostile and adverse to one another?” Sarcasm derives from the Greek word “sarkazein” which literally means “to tear or strip the flesh off.” Hence, it’s no wonder that sarcasm is often preceded by the word “cutting” and that it hurts. Sarcasm is sharp, bitter, or cutting expressions or remarks; bitter gibes or taunts. Sarcastic people are very interesting because their sarcasm is very intentional and conscious. Whoever makes a sarcastic comment knows that they are saying something contrary to what they actually believe, or how they actually feel. Situations cannot be sarcastic, but spouses and other people certainly can. Everyone loves a good joke… But what happens to our marriages and relationships when we are joking at our spouses expense? They say that familiarity breeds contempt – but it can also breed sarcasm. We want to look at our propensity to be sarcastic to each other in marriages and relationships. What’s really going on with you behind all of that sarcasm? Join us for our 54th Show as we continue in our mission to help the Minister and to offer you ‘free, online marriage counseling’ and help you to become a very valuable final product! We absolutely love to serve and to minister unto you, and to learn from you and we strive very hard to specialize in discussions that are worthy of discussion!
