Gods Grace Deacon Rochelle Francis Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness. Sickness is a normal part of life. However, being sick for a long period of time is exhausting. It wears down your attitude and depletes your energy. The longer the sickness persists, the more sickness changes your life. It becomes difficult to enjoy being with people, difficult to accept help, difficult to feel encouraged. The only thing that is really easy is the tendency to develop a negative outlook on everything. Is there any hope of comfort when you’ve suffered from sickness for a long time? The answer is YES. Comfort is always possible. Remember that God loves you so much that he sent Gods only Son for you. That’s love. Someone who loves you that much must care about the sickness you’re dealing with. God will walk beside you through this time just as God does through the good times. That’s what love does. Never doubt it. Prayer: Dear God, being sick gets tiresome. I long to feel well and energized again. God I ask for your healing in my body. Until that time comes, I ask for Your strength to sustain me and for my trust in You so stay strong. Amen.
