Going out into the world yesterday to the grocery store, I was struck by such a sudden and profound sadness. I had no idea how much comfort I took in knowing I shared this planet with my friend, J-R. Yesterday at 6:30 am(EST) I walked into my hallway and found a paper on the floor. It was a fortune cookie message, (out of nowhere). It read: The one waiting for you when you get home will be your friend for life. I hadnt heard the news yet. I set it down on my dresser next to another completely random fortune cookie message (where did they come from?)...it read: Let the spirit of adventure set the tone. J-R gave me so much in this life. This morning my ten year old daughter woke up and asked me to teach her how to do Ses. I love you, J-R, with all my body, heart, mind, and Soul. You are my dearest companion, friend, and Soul Mate.
