Going to the library is like time travel. I got the Sunday - TopicsExpress

Going to the library is like time travel. I got the Sunday Philosophy Club by Alexander McCall Smith while S got something with murder and mayhem that G would probably not have permitted him to get. In my defense, it is written by a childrens author so I assume it is age appropriate. What sent me back in time, however, when I went to fetch S after selecting my book, was the sight of him desperately hanging on to the bookshelf by his proverbial fingernails, in order to finish reading the Archies digest. I remember the librarian of the small library next to our house complaining to my mom thirty years back that I read all the comics sitting there in the library instead of taking them home, because I didnt want to waste my daily subscription on taking home a comic book that would get over in 20 minutes. They say life comes full circle, but it is probably just your karma circling back to bite you in the a$$.
