Whilst it is still too early at this stage to say yes or no we are going to have a cyclone. Here is the absolute latest 3 day Tropical Cyclone outlook for the Coral Sea. I would like to make a point of one section however which everybody should pay attention to and it is this part here. The monsoon trough extends from Papua New Guinea to the Solomon Islands, with an area of low pressure located south of the Solomon Islands. The monsoon is expected to strengthen early next week. It is likely that with the intensification of the monsoon trough, a tropical system will develop, however the uncertainty with its position and movement is high. Please make sure your neighbours especially new members to the area are aware of what things need to be done to prepare for the eventuality of what may happen.
