Good Evening, Yall - I have heard, or over heard, some of our members talking about how the county they live in requires either a Serve Safe or Food Handlers Permit or something of the like or both. Never thought much about it until I had to start studying for the Serve Safe class that is coming up in December,,,, If the State of Oklahoma can reconize us as CDMs, the folks who should be running the Kitchens in nursing facilites, shouldnt they also reconize that same CDM credential covers what Serve Safe and a Food Handlers permit covers? Am I being long winded? (Sorry if I am) Do you all have an opinion? Please post what you think - Maybe this is something we need to work on..... Thanks for reading. Have a good evening!!
