Good Friday Morning East Texas. Today is shaping up to be the hottest of so far this summer. A weak cool front will move towards the area late today and out ahead of this front temperatures will soar to around 100 degrees this afternoon. Highs will range from the upper 90s in our far northern counties to between 102 and 104 in our far southwestern counties. Winds will be out of the west southwest around 10 miles per hour.
