Good Friday services were quite moving. The Pastor told the story of Christs arrest to his burial very well. But what was especially moving was when we were invited to pay reverence to the Cross. People could go forward and stand by or kneel before a large cross that was draped in black with a crown of thorns on it. You could either do it at certain part of the service or you could wait until the end of the service. I chose to wait until the end. There was something so moving about sitting in front of the Cross after the service in the quiet. I will admit that tears started falling down my face. It was one of the most moving services I have ever been to.
