Good Monday afternoon! Plenty of winter coming our way - already frigid now and snow arrives tonight. Winter advisories are hoisted as snow moves it later - the city of Indianapolis is now under a winter storm warning from 7 PM to 10 AM Tuesday. Snow is likely in the city by 10 PM. This snow is a dry snow - to fluff up to 4 to 6 across the city. Snow fall amounts off 5 computer models averages 4.6 for the city - a range from 2.7 to 5.5. More bang for the buck - a typical rain to snow ratio is10:1 but given the cold arctic air - this could easily fluff to a 18:1 or higher ratio equaling higher snowfall totals.
