Good Morning Lifeline! How is everybody this morning?! A happy 4th of July to everybody, hope you all have fun things planned for today. I was remembering this morning when I bought this house in 83 we moved in a couple of weeks before the 4th. I had a small couch in the dining room and I was making food for a party Gary and I were going to that afternoon. Gary and I sat on the couch with our old dog George between us, the three of us looking out the dining room windows at OUR back yard, so happy we had a nice house. That was Georges yard, he loved it out there. What a nice moment that was for us, all settled in our new home, looking forward to the parade and a party with friends that day. And what good times weve had in this house too! Many more to come. Max is on Border Patrol and Salem has completely evaporated. Actually they are enjoying the chaos the back yard is in right now. Larry just finished building a storage shed out there and now has to start putting things away. The shed looks really nice, he did a great job. Dont know if I mentioned it before or not, but a few days ago Salem got in the cupboard where all the cat supplies are and got hold of the catnip jar. I was in the basement doing laundry and saw Salem rolling around on the floor by the stairs. Somehow after he got the jar out, he managed to throw it down the stairs and pop the lid open and was now rolling in catnip looking all googley eyed and goofy. Max was hanging over the steps looking at him waiting for him to bring the jar back up. Those two can get the cupboard door open, get in and get what they want, and when they get back out the door shuts automatically. You just have to love cats. They will not be out running around after this morning. Too much commotion around town all day and I want them in the house where they are safe. Special thanks to all of you who posted birthday wishes and very special thanks to Rhea and Betsy who sent me cards in the mail and thanks to Betsy for the gift card. I have some wonderful friends. And for those of you who didnt see it, check out my page until you find the birthday video from my grandson who says I am 57000 years old. Gotta love a 5 year old. Hope to see some of you at the festivities today and tonight. Blessings to all today. And put your flags out and thank a vet for our freedom.
