Good Morning everyone, Its a wet morning here in Portland today but we have had some nice days earlier in the week. Today we are looking at a south wing upto 25knots and a southwest swell of 3.3metres. overcast conditions. Saturday we are looking at south winds again around 15knots and a southwest swell of 2.5 metres still overcast sky with a little sun. Sunday southeast wind around 16knots and a southwest swell of 2.2metres and again overcast. Good luck to all angler fishing this weekend... Some nice snapper caught during the week again off the breakwater upto around 7kg also some big salmon and good squid. There has also been some reports on Kingfish being sighted there also. The bay is still going well with flathead, whiting, squid, and the odd shark. Some great fishinfg in the deeper waters with flathead, snapper , sweep, sharks ect. The beaches have been producing some good shark and the odd mullaway on the north side and discovery bay is starting to fire with sharks also. The rivers are fishing well with good bream and mullet in the fitzroy and surrey and the glenelg is producing good bream and eastury perch also the odd mullaway.. For all your bait and tackle today and over the weekend call into compleat angler and say gday to the team.
