Good Morning friends! Wish you wonderful Wednesday! I watched Haider yesterday. There were two reasons, one was Shahid Kapoor & other was Kay Kay Menon.On both counts I was happy, top notch performances. Tabu is flawless as usual & gorgeous as ever. But the film as such failed for me. It has beautiful opening scenes & I got goosebumps watching them as the situation of people was depicted. So braced myself for a great film & may be therein lies disappointment. Also too much or gore also turns me off unless & until it is Kill Bill. Many things could have been subtle & hence more chilling, but then it was not to be. Intent of Irrfan Khans character in movie is still a mystery for me, just like Haider. An above average film, do watch it for some breathtaking scenery but be ready for the blood & gory too..... My favourite soliloqy of Sir Richard Burton (the actor) from the few available online!
