I can confirm that the planning application (14/00309/FULMAJ) for 42 detached dwellings at the land between M1 Motorway and rear of 1 to 7 Southfield Drive and 14 - 24 Carter Lane West has been REJECTED on the grounds of Highway Safety. This is something that the Parish Council commented against and we are very pleased with the decision of Bolsover District Councils Planning Committee. We are all for new housing developments in South Normanton, but not at the expense of health and safety to our parishioners. #southnormanton
