Good afternoon. Please note the following public notifications. At the Ordinary Meeting of Council held September 9, 2014, it was resolved that the draft amendments to the Councillors’ Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities policy be placed on public exhibition for 28 days. Council is required to notify the public and provide the opportunity for submissions regarding these policies. The draft Councillors’ Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities policy may be viewed at the Council Chambers, 1 Benerembah Street Griffith, the Griffith City Library and on Council’s website at griffith.nsw.gov.au. Anyone wishing to make comment on the above policies can do so in writing addressed to the General Manager, Griffith City Council. Submissions will be received up to 4pm on Friday October 17, 2014. Griffith City Council will conduct an Immunisation Clinic for children on Thursday October 2 at the Senior Citizens Centre, 47 Canal Street, Griffith, between 3pm and 4.30pm. Visitors to the clinic are requested to being with them their children’s blue health record books and Medicare Cards. Call 6962 8100 if you have questions. Removal of 18 Athel Pine trees from Kookora Street - the removal is scheduled to start on Monday, September 29, 2014, and work is anticipated to take two weeks to complete.
