Good evening Weather Watchers!! RAIN CHANCES INCREASING FRI PM-SAT AM for areas along and South of I-70...remnant moisture from the Cabo Hurricane. First off, I have spoken with several persons who have shown interest in becoming Weather Watcher Team Members this evening. Had some great conversations!! Looking forward to launching our new program in the coming weeks where we will have pictures and real-time information, including video and ZELLO reports from many areas around the State during Severe Weather events. If you are interested we still have additional spots available especially in Western areas of the State. Just message us with your phone number and we will provide you with information! I am very excited about how things are coming together!! On to the Weather..... Tonight- chances of Thunderstorm development look possible between midnight and 2am- some could be Strong....an isolated hail/wind event is possible in the area circled in red..best chances will be from I-70 South and along US 75. The Cold front has slowed down which should allow for an area of heavy rainfall to occur beginning in Western Kansas around 7pm Friday. The area of tropical moisture should move East across the Southern half of the State overnight reaching East Central KS by 10 am Sat morning. The system will be a quick mover but have lots of moisture to work with. 1-3 rains are likely with locally heavier amounts possible. A strong cold front moves through this coming weekend bringing temps down to below seasonal norms- sound familiar? Have a GREAT NIGHT Weather Watchers!! We will update you tomorrow morning. (The most recent data shows a pattern change late in the period, which if occurs, would mean additional beneficial rainfall in and around Kansas....
