Good evening everyone! We hope you are all having a wonderful evening! I want to first start this post by saying thank you to all of our customers and the city of McDonough for such a great start to bringing Ritas to the square! You have all been so very supportive and its been a fun experience so far! I know we have a great following of people who know a lot about Ritas and some we have been a new experience for. Ritas is a northern based franchise where most stores are primarily seasonal and close in the winter months. As a new business to McDonough we wanted to do everything we could and make every effort to try to sustain and stay open for the winter but unfortunately we have not had the success we were hoping for already with the temperatures getting colder. Upon a lot of thought and consideration we have decided that for the best interest of the business and it not being able to sustain the winter we are going to have to do a winter closing. Our last day of this year will be December 7th on the Sunday after the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting. We will re-open sometime in February to be announced just in time for Spring. Again we apologize for the inconvenience but I assure everyone we are not going anywhere on a permanent basis just a temporary winter closing. Thank you all again! Ice! Custard! Happiness!
