Good evening friends, Good News…IT returns filers! The date of filing the IT return has been extended from July 31 to August 5, 2013. If you have not been able to do it, you have time in hand. We know that numbers have gone significantly up due to the fact that from this year people who are required to file their returns electronically. It has become mandatory for people earning Rs. 5 lakhs to file their IT returns, which was Rs. 10 Lakhs or more till last year. Owing to this, there was huge pressure on the network, as a result, lot of people were not able to upload their returns. Considering this constraint, CBDT has decided to extend the due date of filing of income tax return from 31st July 2013 to 5th August, 2013.
