Good luck to our friends around town starting school today. Listening to NJ 101.5 Brick Board of Ed puts the kabash on their HS Marching Band practices at night. Not allowed due to unidentified resident complaints! Are you kidding. HS is about enjoying those years remember. What the heck is wrong with these NJ Voted Board of Educations. Putting unreasonable limits on school supported sports, clubs all equally as important as academics to create student balance and success. VOTE these narrow minded people out this November. PS our Memorials Ice Hockey Program Enrolment is down due to a cost to play of roughly $1400 per player. Our Public HS funded by our tax dollars costs more to play than D1 college club hockey at University of Delaware comparatively. Due to cost and a parent board having to run and fully fund a school sport because the school, athletic director, BOE refuse to run this and only this one sport my son and several other Varsity Players sadly will not be playing this year- disgraceful. Whats wrong with that picture. PLEASE VOTE this November!
