Good morning FB, so today 11 years ago I met the apple of my eye. I knew what Vashawn Mitchell was talking about when he searched all over couldnt find anyone. I know he was referring to Jesus, but I am referring to my wife. Unlike a lot of saved brothers during my era I was waiting for my wife, 10 years of abstinence to be exact. I knew that once I found her, I could tap into true love. There she was doing what a virtuous women would be doing hangin with her mother and grandmother. Little did I know that this would be the woman that I met 7 years prior in a tent revival on W. State and Avon, in which I so proudly approached my future brother in law and asked him who is the sister over there? as he replied thats just my sister I replied please introduce. She was visiting from FAMU and I wanted to take her out, we exchanged numbers and she faked me out. Well, I moved to Cali, attended Bible college she went back to Florida and on to Providence, Rhode Island.to finish her degree in Pastoral studies. Fast forward, seven years later My Grandmother gave me a prophetic word dont you think its time to move back home to Rockford. My flesh said No, but my spirit man knew she knew something I didnt know. I moved back to Rockford, IL with much trepidation. One Friday night I was on the date from Hell at the Coronado( some play cant remember it). Anyway, during intermission I went to the RR and I saw this beautiful Angel, my my, she was shining with Gods anointing, and she was looking like CC Winans (Gospel artist crush), We said hi, but nothing else. Remind you this was the only bright spot this night. A couple of weeks later a good friend of mine Ira Grimmett and i were at another play and there she was again. This time I got the number, and Ira Grimmett prophetically said, I believe you just met your wife. Oddly enough, that was the first time Ira and I hung out and the last LOL, because from that point on Eileen Norwood Walker was the only thing on my mind. 11 years later she is still the only thing on my mind. Let me tell someone out there, things will never be perfect, but if you stay perfectly genuine and wait, God will provide. There is a standard that many of us are compromising on, Wait on God. I saw the promise in 1994, I didnt receive the promise until 2003. Love you baby.
