Good morning, Hong Kong and Claveria; this is the day the LORD has made: Prayer for Monday, August 25, 2014; Loving, generous and Holy God, You empower each of us with a unique spiritual gift to use, and make us responsible for it by requiring personal accountability for our actions. Thank You for this amazing plan, Father, and forgive us when we fall short of implementing it! Indeed, Lord, fill us again with Spirit and Word today so that we can trust and obey your plan for our spiritual gifts more completely. We pray that our thoughts, words and deeds this week will be pleasing to You, supportive of our friends and family, and of service to our neighbors who need You; in Jesus faithful name we pray. Thank You for this new week, O God! Amen! (Even if everything seems to be falling apart for us, we retain our power to help someone else pull their life together.
