Good morning. I woke up at 5:30am to a disaster -- (you have permission to laugh) I had a gallon of apple cider fermenting on the kitchen counter, getting ready to add the vinegar mother. It was in a milk jug and the milk jug leaked from the pressure of the fermentation. The counter and the floor was flooded with sticky, winey apple cider. I lost about a quart of cider to the counter and floor. And the scent of green wine and dawn dish soap now permeats my kitchen. But I have a clean, freshly washed kitchen floor and my second cup of coffee. And Ive added the vinegar mother to the milk jug, along with a cloth cover for the second ferment. :D Your morning has to be going better than that!
