Good morning everybody. I wanted to give an update as to the results of my wifes endoscoptic ultrasound results. The results were definitely not what we wanted to hear to say the least. She was officially diagnosed with Hepatobilary Carcinoma also known as Cholangiocarcinoma on Thursday afternoon. This is a cancer of the bile ducts of the liver. One important thing is that she has no other disease of the liver like most people who get liver cancer do like hepatitis B, C or cirrhosis. It is baffling like cancer itself. The tumor measured 9cm with a few lympth nodes involved. Im scared to death right now. Jen is a fighter and it is going to be a very long road ahead. She will be given a PET scan on Tuesday to see if the cancer has spread anywhere else in the body. They want to be aggressive and start Chemo treatments immediately this coming Friday every 2 weeks. If they can get the can get the tumor to shrink they will go in and surgically remove a very large portion of her liver. She and I are very optimistic that the cancer has not spread anywhere else because she doesnt even look sick, doesnt looked jaundiced or feel sick in the least bit. I will give an update again after she gets the results of the scan next Friday at her 1st chemo treatment. I ask you all to please keep her, my 2 year old son Nathaniel, and I in your prayers. If anybody has any ideas on fundraising ideas here on facebook or anywhere else please let me know. Financially this is going to hurt a lot.
