Good morning fb! Had a great weekend as usual. I think i made the most awesomeist bread n butter pickles in the world! They turned out great. I do want to share something with you that happened yesterday. Im getting phone call after phone call and i love the concern for my family, you guys are awesome. We were riding yesterday and the curvy roads is the biker dream. We have conversations all the time about the next winding trail. A reason to ride but there does occasionally lye a danger we dont expect or accept as a bike family. The danger of one going down. Now we learn from mistakes and even if their not ours it hits home hard. Dad took a spill yesterday, Hes ok, not his 1st time looking at the blacktop in an awkward position. Was very scary though consider not knowing his condition until getting him. God indeed had his hands around him the whole way. Funny thing is, we joined hands and prayed before heading out, dad already sitting on his bike said to join around him, to lazy to climb off? Maybe, Maybe not. Hes doing good, the bike needs a few things were going to get on pretty quick. Heres what odd. We have new riders with us, then amongst us is a man that have a million miles under his belt, self defense riding courses and no fear. How could it be this bike that goes down? Its simple, it can happen to anyone. Please, today, see the beauty of the open road. Slow ourselves to not have to be victim of circumstance. Love the curves, dont taunt their integrity. Devin was shook up pretty bad as well as Connie. Everyone with us will learn something from this. Thank you Jesus we were able to ride on.
