Good morning... in the wake of some strong and very loud - TopicsExpress

Good morning... in the wake of some strong and very loud thunderstorms overnight, we are left with cloud cover and a few peeks of sun here and there... along with some spotty showers in some areas this morning. Many of you especially south of I-78 were awakened by one heck of a light show last night, but thankfully not much in the way of wind damage reports. The cold front will press south through the area today, and until then it will remain humid. Expect showers and thunderstorms to move back in late morning through early afternoon, but since the atmosphere was stabilized with the showers and storms that rolled through last night, we are not expecting severe weather today. If anything changes with that, we will let you know... but only southern areas of our coverage area we would have to watch for that potential. Once this front clears from north to south, winds will shift to the north and humidity will lower dramatically for later today through tomorrow. We have the full forecasts for your local area, including the weekend forecast and a look into next week, also discussed in the daily forecast video. Have a great Thursday!
