Good morning my dear friends! On Tuesday morning I attended the launch of the One Stop Centre at Fountain of Hope in Kamwala. It was an enjoyable and inspiring event. It was graced by Hon Inonge Wina minster of Gender and Child Affairs. Deputy minister Limata was also in attendance. I am personally proud to have been associated with the establishment of Fountain of Hope way back in 1997. Also I am proud that Kabwata constituency is home to many such facilities which include the Kabwata orphanage, the YMCA drop in centre, st Lawrence home for street children, chilenje transit home, Talumi home for girls, etc. I am grateful to the good hearted people of Kabwata constituency who host these organisations and the children. At the event I appealed to the Minister for her Ministry to allocate funds for us to rehabilitate one of the play parks to be run jointly by Organizations dealing with rehabilitating street kids within Kamwala ward.
