Good morning, there are 82 inmates in the RCJ this morning. You will notice there have been several arrest of individuals from outside the county particularly over the last few weeks. Be vigilant in securing your property and reporting suspicious people and incidents. The Sheriff would rather you call and let us find that the incident was just some innocent act rather than have it go unreported and there actually be an unreported crime. 1.Rodney Briskey, 30 of Five Points, Warrant out of Chambers County 2.Kenneth Hamilton Matthew, 27 of Roanoke, theft of property 2nd 3.Danny Carl Cook, 66 of Wadley, DUI 4.Shanna Marie Sunshine Plata, 34 of Heflin, FTA, child support 5.Ronnie O’Neal Stewart, 47 of Wedowee, assault 2nd 6.Justin David Smith, 23 of Roanoke, child support 7.Jacorey Martez Knight, 19 of Wedowee, probation violation, resisting arrest, possession of a forged instrument X-7 8.Amman Rashad Morgan, 36 of Roanoke, marijuana possession 9.Jacob Tyler Bates, 20 of Carrollton, terroristic threats and acts, Warrant out of Heard County 10.Christopher Joseph Waldrep, 29 of Dadeville, marijuana possession 11.Tara Chivon Malone, 32 of Gadsden, NWNI X-4 12.Christopher C. Malone, 40 of Gadsden, NWNI X-4 13.Danny James Boyd, 38 of Roanoke, DUI The department had a very good training/practice/certification session this past Thursday. The Wedowee Police Department, The Randolph County Sheriff Department and the RCS Reserve had officers participate in the annual fire arms qualification required by state standards. The new deputy attending the academy for certification is scoring high marks and will be back in the county, on the road, before December.
