Good news and a question! After being sort of depressed because my neighborhood is now devoid of BBs due to HOSPs (there were a lot 3 years ago), I went to a park in Prattville, Al and counted 19 Blue Birds all together! I was absolutely thrilled! If you look closely you can count 9 on one line and can plainly see like 6 on the other line, which were abt 20 yards apart. Several more were on the fence and the ground (I was in a baseball field). And I positively identified them by zooming in on each one but I wanted a group pic so I un-zoomed to take these pics. They were all so beautiful! I was so thrilled to see them! But my question is this, I saw no BB houses or anything. Where on earth did they all live and nest?!? There was a line of trees and overgrowth behind them along a rail road track and an abandoned RR Depot. Perhaps in all that.
