Good points, but I think even Jesus had a hard time with the first part of this last point: “Prophets accept that misunderstanding and rejection by others routinely accompany this calling. Prophets accept this reality and forgive those whose response is rejection.” Yet Jesus certainly did forgive them, saying, for they know not what they do. It’s hard for me to understand how those who clearly have the Holy Spirit in them, and who have tasted the presence of God in its infant, though still pretty awesome stages, how they think it’s now okay to not even feel the presence of God at all — telling others they’re actually doing good. How can they “know not what they do” when they once experienced so much — which was just a taste of what is supposed to happen. It’s also hard to see America fall, and knowing that so many are already in hell who should have gone to heaven, had revival happened decades ago, if the warnings had been heeded. It’s still not too late for many. Now, the church has changed church doctrine to excuse their sin, instead of embracing Jesus’ truth, expressed by many, that we must overcome sin and reconcile, so ‘ONE’ can happen, “that the world will know.” (John 17) jeff
