Got a late start today because we went to Super Cross last nite and didnt get to bed til 3 am. Pam was at church when I woke up. I left about 11 am and went to late breakfast at bonnie cafe. Talked to a hot waitress named Lorrie Williams. Melissa Hubbard said she only hires the hot ones! Great breakfast. Shot down through Shawnee Forrest for a while then up through Garden of the Gods. Posted a picture of where I went for lunch. Can anyone guess what I had to eat? The best in southern Illinois! Came back through Marion and up 148 to check on The Custard Stand - Sesser, IL. It has a big dumpster in the parking lot and was not open early. Almost had a breakdown right there in the parking lot! Great weather for a half days riding. Came back through Mt. Vernon and stopped to visit with Roger Hayes, Carla and Scooter. Back home at almost dark. First longer ride in a while. My butt feels it!
