Got a minute? Join me for a couple of quick walks through the International Departures Hall of the Delhi Airport and see what a spiffy, cool joint it is. This is NOT the shabby, mosquito-infested airport I frequently used when I lived in Delhi a decade ago. Oh no, no, no. This is a travellers dream departure hall complete with (obscenely overpriced) gorgeous shopping, places to eat and a last chance to soak up some of the culture youre about to leave behind. I was there 32 hours ago? 16 hours ago? Half an hour ago? I have no idea - cest le jet lag, nest pas? ;) I just know I woke up a few minutes ago to use the loo and had to wonder for a while as to where on this earth I was and which way to the toilet :) Sorry for the choppiness of these little vids. As all of you who know me will understand, I was in a hurry because I was running late for my flight ;)
